STABILIZER FAMILY

Balanced Performance!

This single workhorse guidewire balances device support with flexibility and steerability. Made especially for today's greater wire demands.

The wire to start with.
Provides treatment of straightforward, complex angioplasty and advanced interventional procedures.

Cordis' STABILIZER Balanced Performance guidewire design provides an optimal balance between flexibility and device support. Its broad transition corewire design creates gentle transitions from the distal tip to the extra-support segment and beyond.

Lateral Flexibility

Lateral Flexibility Test*

The STABILIZER Balanced Performance guidewire, with its one-piece broad transition design, features gentle transitions from the distal tip to the extra support segment. The optimal .0085" corewire diameter in the extra support segment balances flexibility with device support.

Torque Response

Tortuosity Torque Response Test*

The broad transition corewire design of the STABILIZER Balances Performance guidewire is unequaled in its ability to negotiate tortuosities and maintain torque transmission to the distal tip. When placed in this tortuous model, the

STABILIZER Balanced Performance wire demonstrates up to 375% more torque transmission that other steerable guidewires tested.

All guidewires were placed in a tortuosity model to simulate torque transmission vessel tortuosity.

Cordis' superior radiolucent STABILIZER Balanced Performance steerable guidewire features a one-piece broad transition core wire. Cordis' proprietary FLEX-JOINT bond provides enhanced torque transmission to the distal tip. Note the Cordis DURAGLIDE coating and PTFE sleeve for exceptional surface lubricity.

The radiopaque STABILIZER Balanced Performance steerable guidewire features a 25cm radiopaque distal coil with a proximal DURAGLIDE coating and distal SLX coating for enhanced surface lubricity.
